PSYCHOTHERAPIST, FACILITATOR, REGISTERED CLINICAL COUNSELLOR (RCC) AND REGISTERED ART THERAPIST (BCATR)

I have provided individual couple and family therapy for the past twenty years in agency and private practice settings.

I am a registered clinical counselor and a registered art therapist. I have completed training in EMDR, and I continue my training in body psychotherapy and trauma/recovery.

Currently I have begun a new branch of my practice by offering therapy for individuals and families who experience cancer treatment and the after effects of cancer or survivorship issues. Please read more about this here

In addition to my therapy practice, I have written and presented workshops and seminars and have provided adoption support groups for the adoption community. I've presented on issues pertaining to adoptive parenting, infertility/reproductive technologies, adopted adults issues, birth parent issues and search and reunion issues.

Please contact me for a free consultation on any of my services.

About my logo

The logo for my therapy practice is the image of a grafted fruit tree. Grafting is the process of taking a branch from one tree and grafting it on to different tree stock. The idea is that more than one variety of fruit can exist on a single tree.

The host tree can also support new growth. The parallel for healing or therapy is that we maintain our core, our sense of self, and graft into our selves new beliefs, skills, resources and experiences. The three sides of my logo (below) represent grafting, creating and possibilities — processes that we will explore together.
